Crypto security without handing over your keys · EU

Who recoversyour cryptowhen you'regone?

We move your crypto to a hardware wallet, split the keys across three places and write instructions for your family. Step by step. We never see your keys, not even for a moment.

We're taking our first clients in the EU. No spam, one email and you're off the list.

SEED · 24 WORDS · 2 OF 3 · KEY A123456789101112131415161718192021222324
Your seed on steel, not on paper. It survives fire and flooding. You stamp it yourself, at home, and we don't look.

Three worries of crypto holders

01

I will lose my seed or my wallet

A destroyed sheet with 24 words, or a broken wallet with no backup, means the funds are gone. Nobody can recover them, not even an exchange.

02

Someone will steal it

Phishing, a fake app, a break-in. If all access sits in one place, a thief needs only that one place.

03

My family will not know how to get in

Crypto is part of an estate, but without keys and instructions your family has no way to use it. Sometimes they don't even know it exists.

Lose a key. See what happens.

This is how a 2-of-3 wallet works: three keys in three places, and any two of them are enough to send funds. Click to lose one. Then another.

Trusted person
Spouse, brother, friend. No access to the rest
The wallet works. All three keys are in place.

Any two keys are enough to send funds. The third is a spare for a bad day.

A thief with one key sends nothing. Neither can we: we hold none.

That's how many of your keys we hold. Not even one of the three.

We aren't an exchange or a wallet. You enter the seed yourself, on your own device, and we guide you through the next steps. We have no access to your funds and can't move them. Think of a driving instructor: they sit next to you, but you hold the wheel.

The rule

What we see

  • Your questions and how you hold your crypto today
  • The list of risks we go through together
  • Your email, to arrange a date

What we never see

  • Your seed or any of your keys
  • Wallet addresses and amounts
  • Your screen while you enter the words

How it works

  1. 1

    Check-up

A one-hour call online. We look at how you hold your crypto now, and you get a list of risks. If everything is fine, we say so and that's the end of it.

    1 hour, online

  2. 2

    Hardware

We help you choose hardware wallets (for example Trezor, BitBox) and steel plates for your seed. You buy them yourself, straight from the maker.

  3. 3

    2-of-3 wallet

Three keys in three places, and two are needed to send funds. Losing one changes nothing. You enter the seeds yourself.

2 to 3 hours, in one or two sessions

  4. 4

    Recovery test

Before you move larger amounts, you restore the wallet from the backup while we watch. You know it works before you need it.

  5. 5

    Family instructions

We write down who holds which key and what to do, step by step, in language your family can follow without us. A notary or lawyer prepares the will and inheritance matters.

  6. 6

Once a year: run it again

Together we repeat the recovery test and check that the instructions still fit your life. If something breaks, we help right away.

    Optional, as a subscription

What it costs

from €50per hour, online
  • an assessment of how you hold your crypto today
  • a list of risks to fix, most urgent first
  • a clear answer on whether you need anything more at all

We always start with a check-up. We price the rest afterwards, depending on how much there is to do.

We'll get back to you with a date. You pay nothing when you sign up.

We don't help everyone

This is for you if

  • you hold crypto on your own wallet or want to move it there from an exchange
  • you aren't sure your backup will work
  • you want your family to cope if something happens to you
  • you run a company that holds crypto and need roles split between people

Not for you if

  • you keep crypto on an exchange and want to stay there
  • you set up multisig yourself and read your wallet's code
  • you want someone to tell you what to buy and when to sell

Frequently asked questions

Do you see my seed or keys?

No. You enter the seed yourself on your own hardware wallet, and at that step we don't see your screen. We don't store any of your keys.

Do you give investment advice?

No. We deal only with how to store safely what you already have. We don't say what to buy or when to sell.

Does this replace a will?

No. We prepare the technical part: where the keys are and how to use them. A notary or lawyer handles the will and inheritance matters, and we're happy to talk to them. Rules differ between EU countries, so ask a local notary or lawyer.

Which cryptocurrencies do you support?

We set up the 2-of-3 wallet for bitcoin. For other cryptocurrencies we help you move them to a hardware wallet and make a proper backup.

What if something happens after setup?

Once a year we can repeat the recovery test together, and if something breaks we help right away. We give the details of the care plan after the check-up.

Why should I trust you?

We have no access to your funds, so you don't have to. You judge us by the quality of our advice, and you do every step yourself, on open-source software.

Who is behind this

Two people, not an anonymous company. After a string of exchange collapses, more and more people keep crypto themselves, but few know whether they do it right, and even fewer have a plan for what happens when they die. We help with both.
